Overview - Prime Care Credit Union (PCCU) is committed to protecting our member's privacy. It is the policy of PCCU to hold member information in confidence, subject to applicable legal requirements and standards. Accuracy of Information - PCCU will take reasonable precautions to protect the accuracy and reliability of your member information; however, as a member of PCCU, you are responsible for updating your member record from time to time in order to assure its accuracy. PCCU will respond to your request to update your information on your account as quickly as possible. Internal Procedures - As part of our commitment to you as members, PCCU will protect the confidentiality of your account information. Employees and volunteers are informed of their responsibility to protect member information bound by this Privacy Policy. Staff may access your account information only when necessary for business reasons. Volunteers (Supervisory Committee & Board of Directors) may review your accounts for auditing purposes only. This may include but not limited to, reviewing new and closed share accounts, reviewing new and paid off loan accounts, processing any type of loan, to open or close an account, and any information needed in performing annual audits by outside CPA firms, ie..Eggleston & Smith. PCCU will protect unauthorized access to your member information without proper consent. When Information May Be Shared - PCCU will share information that is absolutely necessary. Information will be shared with its affiliates and certain vendors with whom it has contractual relationship to provide specific products and services such as insurance, credit reporting, ATM card processing and account statements. These vendors are prohibited from using member information for any other purpose other than that for which they have been contracted. The business we prtner with will offer products designed to enhance our member's economic well being. Personal financial information such as your account balance or loan information may be shared under the following circumstances:
Disclosure of Privacy Policy - PCCU will disclose its privacy policy as required by law. This will include a disclosure at the time a new member account is opened and at least annually thereafter. Disclaimer - This policy does not address every possible contingency and circumstance, it is intended to provide guidance to PCCU management and members and is not intended to create enforceable legal rights in any individual. PCCU does not bear any responsibility for any actions or policies of third parties affiliates or non-affiliates. PCCU's CEO, Board of Directors and Chairman of Supervisory Committee may authorize exceptions to this policy. PCCU reserves the right to change this policy at any time, with or without notice.
